The Charles Hotel was built in the 14th century and is located on the corner of a cobbled street in the heart of Mala Strana only a short distance from the historic Charles Bridge which towers over it. A tram stop, within walking distance of the hotel, enables guests to explore Prague's many wonderful sights. The spacious and well equipped bedrooms are furnished with Baroque style period furniture and restored panelled roofing beams which give a feeling of uniqueness whilst the ceiling between the beams is decorated elaborately with painted foliage. A breakfast room and bar are also available although there are many bars, shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
